My Journey to Become a UFO Whistleblower (03/03)
Part Three: Exit, Aftermath, Outcomes
Exit, November 2024 - April 2025
The new year brought a new administration and a new Secretary of State. I was cautiously optimistic — partly because of Secretary Rubio’s skepticism of AARO and his pro-Disclosure work in the Senate — and partly because I’d been told the President “held all the cards” on Disclosure. A contact said the White House would soon quietly send people to speak with Executive Branch UAP whistleblowers. With the return of the Trump administration, pieces of the UAP puzzle once again seemed to be moving toward Disclosure.
That early momentum evaporated in late February 2025. I first assumed the lack of legislative outcomes from the November 13th hearing might have constrained the Executive Branch’s options, but President Trump’s unilateral tendencies undercut that theory. Confused, I set out to learn why. Through discreet inquiries, I discovered the problem was twofold: personalities and policies. On the personality side, multiple sources said a new faction within the second Trump administration had obtained limited access to the Legacy Program and was muscling in on the turf of “prime” defense contractors — causing quiet yet intense disruptions.
On the policy side, multiple independent sources told me of a set of classified executive orders and agreements (sometimes described as “treaties”) signed by previous presidents without Congress’s knowledge or approval. These secret directives bar, or at minimum restrain, the elected president’s ability to enforce the Rule of Law in relation to UAP. If accurate, these illegal arrangements function as clandestine laws which abrogate the Constitution and negate the will of the people — all supposedly in the name of national security.
Meanwhile, the White House went quiet on UAP and Congress remained motionless. Those of us still working inside the Executive Branch suddenly looked exposed. Risk-averse managers started looking for neat ways to clean up any “messes”. By March 2025 I was in purgatory: Rosslyn, VA. It was obvious that I was now considered a liability. The necessary pretext arrived with a new executive task force, the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.), and their inevitable cuts to our bureau. Contractors are “naturally” always the first to go. On April 22, 2025 I badged out of State Department Headquarters for the last time, grateful for a clean exit, wistful for what I was leaving behind, and genuinely confused by what had gone wrong in the White House.
Aftermath, April 2025 - August 2025
Being D.O.G.E.’d was good news for Disclosure but bad news for my life and security. Being a government employee, even if “only” a contractor, had afforded protections that kept me somewhat safe during my whistleblowing to Congress. Those were now gone. No longer bound by the obligations of federal employment, I greenlit the Weaponized team to release the interview we had filmed. The series dropped unexpectedly on April 29, 2025 and found an audience hungry for UAP news. For my wife and me, however, it was a brutally stressful time. We were now risking public exposure, reputational damage, and our personal safety.
Worse still, our bodies, our minds, our finances, and our relationships were spent — sacrificed on the altar of Disclosure. Yet the work was not done. Time was being wasted, and the world was growing more dangerous. Revealing myself as the author of the Immaculate Constellation Report was the last “safe” card I had to play, and it needed to be spent. When I learned that the UAP Disclosure Act would be attempted a third time, with no promise of a fourth, the balance tilted toward releasing the interview. Congress needed the fires to burn brighter still.
After the interview aired, old contacts called in waves. I was told I might testify at a July 2025 UAP hearing. I readily agreed, though privately I was skeptical: the hearing was being rushed, the witness list was unclear, and the November 13, 2024 session had yielded little. While Congress tried to get organized, I opened an X account. Soon after, a dramatic news cycle created an opening: Elon Musk publicly claimed that President Trump had been compromised by the infamous sexual predator: Jeffrey Epstein. The internet exploded — here was a perfect opportunity to light another fire — and I took my shot. I will not expand on The Tweet That Shall Not Be Named, except to say that the Eye of Sauron has been firmly fixed upon me ever since.
When the July, 2025 UAP hearing was canceled, maneuvering on the Hill resumed with new urgency. I put my life on hold to be ready to testify at a moments notice, spending the uncertain weeks by organizing material for Disclosure, rebuilding my health, and even learning to garden with my wife. It has not been easy. My wife and I have made a real, open-ended sacrifice for our fellow citizens. Because of my choices, the life she imagined for us may no longer be possible. Friends and family now carry risk just by association. Thirteen years devoted to the study and practice of national security (education, clearances, professional networks) are gone. I will likely never work again for our government.
Outcomes, Present Day
Which brings me to the present: unemployed and unprotected. I have, against all odds, Executive Branch approval to speak about the Immaculate Constellation Report. Anything beyond that, without new executive approvals or congressional protection, risks immediate criminal prosecution. A day may come when public need is so great that I accept those risks for the sake of our nation. I hope our elected leaders make that unnecessary. For now, my speech is limited by duty and by U.S. national-security law, but I will find a way forward.
If this story feels incomplete, you’re right: it is. Too much has been done in the shadows to protect sources and ensure success. I now carry responsibility for the safety of brave, hidden allies. We must be cautious. For now, I have delivered to Congress and the American People 11 pages of evidence sourced directly from within the U.S. Intelligence Community. I synthesized seven categories of data, pulled from hundreds of pages of nonpublic material and sensitive sources, into a single product demonstrating the existence of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UFOs), Non-human Intelligence (Aliens), Technologies of Unknown Origin (Artifacts) — and our government’s knowledge of them (Coverup). Simply put, I wrote the UAP report for Congress that AARO should have.
I have much more to say about UAP, NHI, TUO, and the Coverup — and about how they intersect with two urgent challenges: Artificial Intelligence and Weapons of Mass Destruction. But conditions must be right. Based on my personal experience and that of others, I no longer trust the U.S. government’s ability to protect whistleblowers: protection must come from the People. Any future UAP hearing must be structured to force real outcomes. Allies on the Hill exist, but they are far from the levers of power. If the People want the Truth and their Freedom, they must actively fight for both without compromise. History shows us that nothing else works.
The challenge before us is formidable. Corruption is pervasive, toxic, and entrenched at the top. Unelected leaders in our defense and intelligence establishments have forgotten their oaths — if they ever believed in them at all. An Inquisition is desperately needed whose sole filter is supreme loyalty to the Constitution of the United States of America — not an Agency, a Company, or a Unit. Forming one will require steep political and societal efforts from the bottom up. I do not know what comes next, but I will be working to help to build that movement. If you value Disclosure, accountability, and our Constitution, please do one thing: pressure your elected leaders unceasingly for justice. More will come.
Post-Script,
We are one day from the third Congressional UAP hearing in as many years: Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection. I will not be testifying. Four brave Americans will appear before Congress: Jeffrey Nuccetelli, Chief Alexandro Wiggins, George Knapp, and Dylan Borland. Whatever hardships I’ve faced on this path pale beside what these witnesses have endured. They will speak for many who have been silenced — and I am excited for what will be revealed.

Eye of Sauron = Palantir if anyone doesn’t get that reference. Peter Thiel named his surveillance after the Evil eye of Sauron from Lord of the rings.
Thank you Matthew for sharing. Stay safe.
With thanks from not just me, but from many grateful Citizens (and Citizens to be !!).
Most disturbing of all was your description of some kind of extra-legal "agreement" prohibiting Presidential discussion, revelation or, apparently, entire knowledge. When disclosure comes, and it will come sooner than anyone thinks thanks to people like you, the constitution lawyers will have a field day.
My best suggestion: Your background and ideas are quite unique and in addition to all that, special knowledge acquired albeit by accident put you in a position to be able to write a massive best selling book, no doubt NY Times best seller list material.
You need not disclose any secrets, just give us some ideas of the people, or organizations, or companies involved to whatever extent you can. When not allowed, you can just hint or speak in general. I'm certain you can do way better than Elizondo's book which was still quite good.
In addition, you have a cryptic post on X filled with interesting allusions and ideas.
A discussion of that, likely related to the possibility that the "visitors" have been here for quite some centuries and evidence of them can crop up here in there in history, would be of great interest. You might try and contact Graham Hancock on this - he is no academic but his reputation, particularly after the discovery of Gobekli Tepi, is now established.
If you are willing, put your own philosophical as well as political ideas in there. Your enemies will of course use that in their denunciations of you but that did not stop RFK Jr. from attaining his goal and it will not stop you. Finally, with your experience in government, any major University would be pleased to have you as a professor in some sort of Intro to Public Policy or related course for which you have the perfect background..
Fingers crossed for major revelations tomorrow at the Congressional hearing.
